33 Mindful Moments of Delight

any people are alive but don’t touch the miracle of being alive.
— Thich Nhat Hanh

I focus deeply on my rhythmic breathing. I’m lost in time and space. The ‘Gong’ alarm goes off. I slowly open my eyes, and I’m enveloped by a sense of well-being.

I look up above to the blue sky, and five seagulls are flying in unison, and just for a few moments, I’m lost in a state of grace.

Life is not always about reaching the finish line with happiness in a suitcase, but instead a daily dose of happy, mindful moments. These small moments change our state of mind, which can then alter our emotions and uplift our mood.
